Evan Shweky, Esq. has been managing acquisitions and operations of Delarosa Asset Management’s portfolio of multifamily apartment complexes since 2010. His hands-on approach to property acquisitions, turnarounds, and property management resulted in dramatic increases in both operating cash flows and valuations of Delarosa’s assets.

In 2016, Evan began providing short-term mezzanine financing on behalf of borrowers involved in commercial real estate projects in New Jersey. Delarosa Lending Group LLC’s loan portfolio has since expanded and serves borrowers in NJ, NY, PA, DE, MD, and CT. In addition, Evan is a regular speaker on topics relating to negotiating and real estate investment.

As a commercial real estate attorney, he practiced law with a top Connecticut firm representing large financial institutions, landlords, and developers. He later worked as a tax attorney for PricewaterhouseCoopers advising Fortune 1000 companies on complex domestic taxation issues surrounding corporate restructurings.

In 1997 Evan transitioned to a career on Wall Street as an equities trader with Royal Bank of Canada’s Capital Markets Group where he also managed a team of 15 traders.

Evan earned a joint JD (with Honors)/MBA from the University of Connecticut and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. He holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
